Officer Bonsai: New Assignment

From the start, it was clear that Officer Bonsai was destined for bigger things (and greener grasses)!!

She has been selected for a special role as Deputy Bonsai with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, who clearly recognizes just how exceptional she is!

While we are sad to see her go, we are excited for the next step in her journey, where she will surely thrive and enjoy having opportunities to serve the County as a whole.

During her time here, Officer Bonsai has been more than a mascot—she has been a symbol of dedication, KINDNESS, and perseverance. Her calm, reassuring presence brightened our days, lifted spirits, and became a small but meaningful part of our department.
