Chief of Police
City of Albia, IA (pop. 3721) is seeking candidates for Chief of Police.
Salary is currently $75,000.

Candidates must have ILEA certification, at least six years’ experience in a public law enforcement agency and two years in a supervisory position and one year at a command level, possess a valid State of Iowa motor vehicle licenses and firearms permit.
Pass a physical examination including drug tests. Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or and Associates Decree with acceptable job experience is desirable. EOE/AA.

- $28/hour – Non-Certified ($58,240 annually)
- $32/hour – Certified ($66,560 annually)
- $10,000 Certified Officer Bonus
