If You Suspect a Hidden Camera


If you believe you have discovered a hidden camera or recording device:

  • Consider your immediate safety. 
  • Avoid unnecessarily handling or damaging the suspected device. 
  • If it is safe to do so, document what you observed. 
  • Report your concerns to the appropriate property owner or manager when appropriate. 
  • Contact your local law enforcement agency if you believe a crime has occurred. 
  • If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911.
